Obituary of Florentino Crespo
Florentino Crespo, age 87 of Camden, passed away on November 28, 2024 at Aristacare Center in Cherry Hill. He was born on March 14, 1937 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to the late Florentino and Rosalia (nee Concepcion) Crespo.
Beloved husband of the late Francisca "Panchita" Rodriguez (nee Jimenez); Devoted father of Sylvia (Ana) Rodriguez, Evelyn (Ed) Maldonado, Elizabeth Martinez, Jose (Nora) Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, Denise (Ray) Joubert and the late Jose Miguel Rodriguez; Loving grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 18; Dear brother of Neco, Johnny, Inez, Ana, Gildo, Marcy, Papo, Lucy and the late Pola and Cookie. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Florentino worked many years with J & J Snack Foods in Pennsauken as a dough cutter. He enjoyed listening to traditional Spanish music, dancing, going to the racetrack and doing scratchoff lottery tickets. In his younger years, he enjoyed traveling back to Puerto Rico, and hanging out on the corner shooting dice with his friends. He was a true social butterfly, and could often be found leading the dances at Aristacare.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 9:30 until 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
