Obituary of Pietro G. Zizzamia

Pietro G. "John" Zizzamia, age 80 of Maple Shade, passed away suddenly at his home on March 8, 2025.  He was born in Salandra, Italy to the late Nicola and Anna Lucia (nee Mita) Zizzamia.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Pinto); Devoted father of Peter J. (Patti), Joe, and Nick (Audrie); Loving grandfather of Matthew (Tori), Katelyn (Jimmy Coia), Nicholas, Joseph and great grandfather of Paisley.

Prior to his retirement, John worked for many years as barber and also worked as an assembly worker for Rice and Holman for over 20 years.  He was an avid gardener who loved growing tomatoes and zucchini; enjoyed making gravy from his tomatoes, and making wine.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
