Obituary of Anthony F. Travia

Anthony F. Travia, age 93 of Pennsauken for over 60 years, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025.  He was born on January 17, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Dominic and Mary (nee Crisafa) Travia.

He is the beloved husband of over 70 years of Adelaide (nee Berti); devoted father of Anthony (Nancy), Sharon Travia and Maria DeSantis (Anthony); Loving grandfather of Jason, Michael, Christopher, Jamie and Adam and great grandfather of Jesse, Caleb and Asher; Dear brother of Mary Bianchi and the late Louis and Dominic Travia.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Travia was the owner and operator of Eppo's Jewelers in Blackwood for 35 years.  In his earlier years, he worked restoring and reupholstering the interiors of antique cars and making canvas covers for boats.  He was a longtime member of Elks Lodge #848 in Mount Holly and enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 9 - 10:15 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where an Elks Service will be held at 10:15 AM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
