Obituary of Patrick F. Kennedy
Patrick F. Kennedy, age 91 of Pennsauken, passed away on October 13, 2025, his 91st birthday, at Jefferson Hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He was born in Camden on October 13, 1934 to the late Walter and Catherine (nee Noll) Kennedy.
Beloved husband of 66 years of Anne (nee Hartman); Devoted father of Michael (Michelle) and Stephen (Joy) Kennedy and Jane (Scott) Ensell; Loving grandfather of Sarah, Katherine, Megan, Jessica, Catherine, Cecelia, Margaret and Mackenzie and great grandfather of Patrick, Gennaro, Michael, William, Charlotte, Alexandra, Anne, Patrick and Bridget.
Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey; Mr. Kennedy was a 1949 graduate of Sacred Heart School and 1953 graduate of Camden Catholic High School in Camden. He then went on to LaSalle College, where he graduated in 1958 with his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Military Science. He also acheived 3 varsity letters in soccer while at LaSalle.
Upon graduation, he was a commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the US Army Artillery in June of 1958 and went on to serve in the Army Reserves until 1969, discharged at the rank of Captain.
In 1959, he began working at RCA in Camden in their Aerospace and Defense Division. He continued to work for RCA through their merger with GE and retired in 1993 after holding various management positions throughout his years in Engineering and Plant Operations.
Mr. Kennedy was a longtime parishioner at St. Peter's Church in Merchantville, joinging the parish in April of 1959. At various times he served as President of Parish Council; President, Financial Secretary and Treasurer of the Holy Name Society; Chariman and co-chairman of various parish fundraising programs including the building fund for the parish gym, faith and mission program and the annual House of Charity programs. He also served as usher for the 7:30 AM mass for many years, as well as coached track, intramural basketball and Pop Warner football. From 1988 to 1994; Mr. Kennedy also served on the football coaching staff at Camden Catholic High School.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Sacred Heart School, 4th & Jasper Streets, Camden, NJ 08104.
