Obituary of Courtney Rea Fritz

Courtney R. Fritz, age 37 years of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on October 21, 2025 at Jefferson Stratford Hospital.

Beloved daughter of Thomas and the late Betty Fritz. Loving mother of Matthew Quaglia, Arkin Beckford, and Fallon Beckford. Dear sister of Chelsea Fritz.

More than anything else Courtney loved her children and being a mom. She was passionate about Autism Awareness and advocated for those with Autism. 

Courtney had an infectious smile and laugh with a good sense of humor. She loved country music and singing and dancing with her children. She loved plants and flowers and much like her mom she had a green thumb. Courtney was creative and enjoyed making items to decorate her home, especially around any holiday.

Courtney loved to learn new things and managed to graduate from college while raising her children and working full-time. Her favorite colors were pink and gold with pink roses being her favorite type of rose. Courtney loved animals and nature. She liked to take her children fishing, to the beach, and to the park. She enjoyed taking her daughter to get their nails done. She was always posting pictures of her children and their activities on Facebook. She was a Philadelphia Eagles fan her whole life.

Courtney loved America and followed in the family tradition of serving in the military by joining the United States Army shortly after she turned 20.

To thank Courtney for her service to her country, there will be a military funeral honors service held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery on November 12th, 2025, at 11:00 am.
