Obituary of George E. Clarke Sr.

George E. Clarke, Sr., age 82 of Cherry Hill, passed away suddenly at his home on November 15, 2025.  He was born in Woodbury, NJ on March 12, 1943 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Peel) Clarke.

Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Stickney); Devoted father of Carolyn (Michael) Maro, Michael (Colleen) and the late George Clarke Jr.; Dear brother of Joseph W. (late Marie), Sheila M. (Thomas) Clifford, James J. (Marie), Denise M. (James) Walsh and the late Jacqueline (James) Kelly.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Clarke worked for many years as an investigator with the Camden County Board of Elections.  He had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a compliment for people, and enjoyed watching sports and Fox News.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, November 20, from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr.
