Obituary of Carmen H. Camacho

Carmen H. Camacho (nee Ruiz), age 78 of Camden, passed away at home on December 13, 2025.  She was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico of May 6, 1947 to the late Jose Ruiz and Carmen Gonzalez.

Beloved mother of Anthony J. Camacho (Carmen Sandoval); Loving grandmother of Anthony Joseph and Joseph Anthony (Carmen) Camacho; Cherished great grandmother of Adrianna Marie and Layla Maribel Camacho; Dear sister of Elsie (Paul), Anna (Jose), Maria (Joe) and David (Teresa).  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Prior to her retirement, Carmen worked as a cook at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, a home health aide, and then as a quality control inspector for Merck Pharmaceuticals.  She loved laying out on the beach, thrift shopping, gardening and watching baseball and football.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Wednesday, December 17 from 6 to 8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  Committal will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
