Obituary of Ignacio Rodriguez-Davila
Ignacio Rodriguez-Davila, age 92 years formerly of Camden, NJ and Orlando, FL, passed away on March 16, 2020 at Care One Nursing Home in Evesham.
Beloved husband of the late Santos Rodriguez. Devoted father of Pedro Juan Torres (Nora Hilda), Maria Margarita, Gladys Schneider (Lewis), Santitos Richardson (Samuel) and Raynaldo Santiago (Evelyn). Loving grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 16 and great, great grandfather 1. Dear brother of the late Asuncion, Aquilino, Maria, Suzana, Cecilia and Victoria. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement in 1988, Ignacio was employed at Campbell's Soup in Camden for 36 years and was a member and former treasurer of Local Union 80 UPWA. He was a past president and member of Santa Isabel Social Club in Camden and enjoyed their trips to places like Washington D.C., New York and more. Ignacio worked the elections and was heavily involved in politics in the City of Camden in the 1960s. He was the Grand Marshall of the San Juan Bautista Parade in 1963 and loved to spend time with his family at the beach.
Services for Ignacio are being held privately due to the current health crisis caused by COVID-19 and the recommendations of the CDC. The Funeral Service will be recorded and available on our website. Please check back for the completed service video.
