Obituary of Gloria Cuevas

Gloria Cuevas, age 77 of Camden, passed away on August 14, 2020 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. She is the beloved wife of Rene Camacho; devoted mother of Magally Salas (Orlando Sr.) and Nancy Lezcano (Gabriel); loving grandmother of Magaly Salas-Stutchman, Orlando Salas, Gabriel Salas, Eric Lezcano and Amanda Lezcano and cherished great grandmother of Isaiah Manuel Stutchman; dear sister of Migdalia Cuevas, Amada Cuevas, Guillermina Echavarria, Hilda Luciano, Pedro Cuevas, Luis Cuevas, Santiago Cuevas and the late Margarita, Justo and Panchie Cuevas. Prior to her retirement, Gloria worked as a machine operator at Curtis Young for many years. She loved to go on cruises and traveling, taking trips to Florida, Puerto Rico and Mexico. She enjoyed word searches, listening to music and playing Bingo with her family, cooking, sewing, going to the casinos and Applebee's. She loved spending time and holidays with her family, always celebrating with her daughters at one of their homes with the whole family. Gloria had a strong Catholic faith, praying every day and decorating her room with an angel picture. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Wednesday, August 19 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. Due to current COVID capacity restrictions, we ask that you pay your respects in a timely manner and limit your stay so that others may pay their respects. Face masks are required inside the building.
