Obituary of Michael W. Paynter

Michael W. Paynter, age 67 years of Camden passed away on December 5, 2020. Beloved son of Lula M. (nee Holmes) and the late Lewis L. Paynter, Sr. Devoted father of Taniel Paynter and Kandace Williams. Loving grandfather of Sayvyon Parson. Dear brother of Lewis L. Paynter, Jr. (Bonnie), Robin Paynter and LaSheril Paynter. Cherished uncle of Jeniece, Nia and Jahmal. Also survived by his longtime companion, Denise Hines, special uncle, Al Paynter, his uncles, Lawrence (Ruthie) Paynter, William Elliott (Henrietta) and Tommy Holmes, his aunts, Martha Lewis, Sylvia Maxwell and Doris Holmes, as well as a host of cousins and great nieces and nephews. Michael was a faithful employee at NJ Transit in Camden for 20 years. He was an avid football fan and his favorite team was the Raiders. Michael enjoyed bowling with his family and loved to plan family reunions. He was always the life of the party and will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 9-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Funeral Service and Final Disposition will take place privately due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to go towards Sayvyon's College Fund. Face masks must be worn at all times while in the funeral home and we ask that you please pay your respects in a timely manner so others may come in and do so.
