Obituary of Joseph P. Perno
Joseph P. Perno, age 90 years of Camden, passed away on January 12, 2021 at Cooper Hospital in Camden.
Beloved son of the late James and Angelina Perno. Devoted brother of the late Mary Perno, Antoinette Perno and Angeline DiSibio. Loving uncle of Joseph DiSibio and his wife Marie and Michael DiSibio and his wife Virginia, great uncle of Michael, Nicole, Joseph and Marc and great, great uncle of Mia, Marissa, Max, Mason, Abigail and Callie.
Joseph was an active parishioner and pillar of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Concepcion Church in Camden and served as an Usher. He enjoyed photography and music, playing the organ and accordion. Joseph was also active in the community of Camden, always ready to share a story about Camden's history or a photograph of how it used to be.
Family and Church friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 9-10 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Concepcion Church, 642 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08102, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph's memory to the church at the above address.
Due to current Covid restrictions, masks MUST be worn at all times inside the Church. Please pay your respects in a timely manner and exit the building to allow others to enter and pay their respects.
