Obituary of Luz E. Valcarcel

Luz E. Valcarcel (nee Lopez), age 78 of Willingboro, passed away on March 28, 2021 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. She is the beloved wife of Jose R. Valcarcel; devoted mother of Heather Medina, Daliah Vega and Luz Valcarcel; loving grandmother of Antonio Vega and Xavier Medina; dear sister of Nestor Lopez and the late Livia Huetter and Gilberto Lopez. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. Luz was extremely proud of her faith and her Puerto Rican heritage. She was very generous and compassionate. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and above all else, loved spending time with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken.
