Obituary of Joseph A. D'Ottavi
Joseph A. D'Ottavi, age 92 of Voorhees, formerly of Sicklerville and Pennsauken, passed away at his home in Voorhees on July 18, 2021.
Beloved husband of Helen D. (nee Nicholson); Devoted father of Debra Young (Harold) of Stratford, Dana Feigenbutz (Edward) of Riverton, Joseph E. D'Ottavi of Haddon Township, David D'Ottavi (Teresa) of Haddonfield, and the late Donna D'Ottavi; Loving grandfather of Zachery (Jennifer), Jennifer (Garin), Erica (Brian), Rachel (Tom), Ashley (Richard), Matthew, Abigail and great grandfather of Cienna, Capri, Noah, Claire, Cullen, Amelia, Sophia and Beatrix; Dear brother of Minnie Cordo of Cherry Hill and the late Mildred Giorgio, Mary Neri, Caroline D'Ottavi and Rudolph D'Ottavi. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a United States Army Veteran who served as an OR technician during his years of service. He retired from RCA in Camden after 42 years, and continued to work for another 25 years at Johnson-Matthey in West Deptford until the age of 85.
Joseph enjoyed socializing with family and friends, celebrating his faith, serving as usher at St. Peter's Merchantville for over 60 years, bowling and watching sports. He was proud of his family and he will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday, July 27 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
