Obituary of Freddy Ortiz

Freddy Ortiz, age 49 of Camden, passed away suddenly on August 13, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill.

He is the beloved husband of Amy Jacovelli and son of Juan and the late Evelyn (nee Torres); devoted father of Michael Ortiz, Jaselle Ortiz, Noel, Natalia, Arianna, Devlan and the late Freddy Ortiz Jr.; loving grandfather of Joe'l Carmichael and Ashton Purnell; cherished grandson of Abigail Torres; dear brother of Juan, Enrique and Clarixa Ortiz; dear nephew of Maritza Concepcion, Zoraida Hicks, Gladys Reyes, Migdalia Rosado, and Ediberto "Papo" Reyes; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Freddy loved spending time with his kids, joking around with everyone (he thought he was a comedian) going fishing and to the beach, cars and sports – especially Philadelphia Eagles football.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a Service will be held at 5:00 PM.
