Obituary of Louis A. Macri
Louis A. Macri, age 41 years of Cherry Hill, passed away suddenly on September 22, 2021.
Beloved husband of Jaime M. (nee Gardner). Devoted father of Luciano, Cooper and Piper. Loving son of Mary Katherine Macri (nee Collins) and the late Nicholas Macri. Dear brother of Theresa Gillespie (Jim) and Maria Macri (James). Cherished son in law of Diane and Neil Winter and James and Lisa Gardner. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Lou graduated from Cherry Hill High School West class of 1998 and then attended Temple University graduating with a degree in business and finance. After college he started his own contracting company, Jersey's Best Contracting LLC.
Lou loved sports, playing both soccer (he was a great soccer player) and football and coaching his daughter Piper's soccer team. He also loved to watch his sons play soccer and baseball. Lou was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road and Monday, October 4, 2021 from 10-11 AM at the Church of Christ Our Light, 402 N. Kings Highway in Cherry Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to www.venmo.com/u/MacriChildrenFund to benefit the children.
