Obituary of Raul Mendez-Lopez

Raul Mendez-Lopez, age 76 of Camden, passed away on February 11, 2022 at his son's home in Cherry Hill.

He is the beloved husband of the late Luz I. (nee Lopez); devoted father of Raul Mendez (Christina Cortez), Antonio Vazquez, Luz Garcia and Linda Alicea (Rubin); loving grandfather of Lindsey Rios, Jasmine Mendez, Madeline Vazquez, Natalie Vazquez, Pedro Martinez, Maria Bagby, Nyesha Rodriguez, Harold Garcia, Jeremiah Garcia, Katelyn Garcia, Ashley Melendez, Cynthia Melendez, Tyler Alicea and the late Antonio Rodriguez; dear brother of Aproniano "Polo" Mendez, Eladio "Layo" Mendez, Virgilio "Tillo" Mendez, Luz Celenia Mendez, Luis Manuel Mendez, Carmen "Tata" Castro, Julia Santiago, Ana Mercedes Oquendo, Sor Angeles Caban, Olga Iris Lopez, Reinaldo Mendez, Jose Antonio Mendez and the late Epifanio "Fano", William, Ana Maria and Julio "Julito" Mendez. He is also survived by many loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Raul loved visiting and spending time with his family, playing pool and dominoes, and singing and dancing.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
