Obituary of Gilberto Mendez

Gilberto Mendez of Camden, formerly of Naguabo, Puerto Rico passed away peacefully on April 14, 2022 at 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Gladys (nee Salamanca) Devoted father of many children; Dear brother of Carmen, Benjamin, Josue, Naomi, Miguel and Jesus. Also survived by cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Gilberto was a medical transporter for Crescent Line & Behavioral Resources of South Jersey. He was a dedicated man and was passionate about his work. He enjoyed playing dominoes, gardening, football and baseball. He loved cheering on all the Philadelphia Sports team.

Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Homes, 3425 River Road in Camden. A Celebration of his life will be held at 11AM. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
