Obituary of Charles L. Vandergrift

Charles L. Vandergrift, age 72 of Gloucester City, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.

He is the beloved husband of Kathleen B. (nee Stranahan); devoted father of Kathleen Angier and her husband Dennis; loving grandfather of Jeremy Angier and dear brother of Clara Blakeslee, William, Katherine Lopez and her husband Pete, Robert and his wife Donna, Jimmy, Donald, and the late Edward Jr., Daniel, Margaret Yates and Mary Vandergrift. He is also survived by his entire family of in-laws, the Stranahans.

Charlie loved his iPad, watching Westerns on TV (especially anything with John Wayne), antique and muscle car shows, family dinner/game nights, and Arby's.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday. April 29, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Washington Township.
