Obituary of David Brian Hickey
David Brian Hickey, age 64 years of Villas, NJ (Formerly of Maple Shade and Willingboro), passed away on September 29, 2023 at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ.
Born in Passaic, NJ on August 3rd, 1959 to the late Joseph Patrick Hickey and Barbara Frances Hickey (née Bachtel).
Predeceased by his life partner Lorraine “Lori” Bionda. Loving father of Joseph R. Hickey and Jill L. Vile. Proud grandfather of Vivian Rose Vile and Grayson Hickey. Also survived by his brothers: Michael Joseph Hickey, Steven John Hickey, and Kenneth Mark Hickey as well as many nieces and nephews.
Early in his life, David worked in construction, specifically in concrete. For many years David sold homes for such companies as Weichert Realty and Re/Max. Later in life, David performed mortgage inspections for several banks and most recently, he worked as a sales associate at Seashore Foods, Rio Grande, NJ.
David was a man of many passions including, but in no way limited to fishing (especially the annual Opening Day of trout season), classic Corvettes, playing the bass/guitar, and generally having a good time. Whether it was with family or friends, time spent with David was full of laughter and love.
Final disposition and services will be handled privately by the family.
