Obituary of Chalie Reese

Chalie Reese, age 78 of Maple Shade, passed away on December 16, 2023 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Beloved husband of 43 years of Joyce (Dzindzio); Cherished father of the late Megan; Dear brother in law of Mark (Valerie) Dzindzio, Stan (Shirley) Dzindzio, Diane Ziegenfuss (the late Bob), Stella Lombard (Joe), the late Mike Dzindzio (Cookie) and the late Fred Dzindzio (Debbie).  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Chalie was employed in sales for APA Transport for 35 years until their closing and then with Volpe Express for over 15 years.  He was a great friend to everyone, willing to give anything that was needed and wanting or accepting nothing in return.  He was a great listener, and loved socializing and telling jokes.  Chalie loved spending time with his friends, often at Pizzaria Uno or Pinsetters; and he appeared as Santa for over 40 years, starting at Wanamakers, and then moving on to his sales customers, and family and friends.
