Our Thoughts and prayers go out to the family , and with Heavy Hearts we share your Sorrow. We yearn for the day, when Jehovah will keep the promise he made of no more Pain, no Death, no Sorrow ! " Revelations 21:3-5 " } May you find Strength and Comfort knowing your Love ones are resting safely in Jehovah's limitless memory. May the peace from Jehovah God , shield your Heart, as you patiently wait and look forward to the wonderful day ,when those you've Loved and Miss, awaken from their sleep. { "John5:28"} visit online JW.org

Love love my broo

What can I say about Mick that has'nt already been said? The answer, in short, is plenty! The people whose lives he touched all had their own unique experiences with him but one one thing that always remained the same was his kindness. With EVERYONE. He treated everyone with respect because it wasn't in him to do anything different. I always felt like a "crazy" little sister to him (his words). Growing up around him in PR made teenage life bearable. The best memories are of our 'gang' all hanging out: Angie, Cary, Jenny, Mickey, Albin, Jimmy and me. Our circle was strong and he was the glue that held us all together. He brought out the happy in us and everyone around him. From Cinco Puertas (y'all remember...lol) to Esperanza, to Monte Santo and back to Isabella...and even making a pit stop at Game Ways (our spot), he always looked out for us and protected us. Had our backs for sure. When I moved to Vieques I had never listened to Heavy Metal then I met Mickey and Albin and it was over...Heavy Metal and Thats It! I dated his brother Albin and one day at Pedro's I "borrowed" an Iron Maiden cassette. More than 10 years later, Mickey saw that very cassette in my house and it was on...I was busted! He looks at me and says, "Where did you get this cassette?" Innocently I said " I "borrowed" it from your brother" and he busted out laughing and said" Oh yeah! Well he "borrowed" it from me! This is mine!" We both laughed so hard. I offered it back to him and in true Mickey fashion he says "You keep it, if you hadn't "borrowed" it, it wouldve been gone forever". We listened to it that day and remembered good times past and looked forward to the good times coming. Till this day I still have that cassette and I cherish it like all the memories of my times with him.
In my mind and heart he is forever young. Forever beautiful. Forever OUR Mickey Boy.
I love you, brother!

Miguel (Mickey Boy) was a character. Full Of humor. Funny and silly, always laughing and joking around. Never taking the world too serious. Mickey made an impact on all the lives he touched. Having been raised as a child in Puerto Rico, he enjoyed the outdoor life. Camping, horseback riding and the beaches amongst some of his hobbies. Mickey will be remembered by many and missed by all. He will forever be in our hearts.

I was about 12yrs old when I first met this cute little perfect hair (jealous), playful, energetic, talkative, fighter known back then as Mickey Matojo and just like that together with his brother Alvin they became family. And that’s where Mickey Boy came from, we had to change his name because we already had a Mickey in the family. As we grew his passion was boxing and singing Bob Marley to be exact, even tho we called him Menudo and he would blush when we did lol. My most cherished childhood memories includes Mick because there was never a dull moment with him around. I have plenty of stories but let me tell you about this time when Mickey saw me (teenage heart broken) and took me to stalk lol on the ride we found a bottle of Palo Viejo so we played drink or dare, at that time Clint Eastwood was filming the movie Heartbrake Ridge at the Vieques faro, right around the corner from our house. After I lost the game we decided to go to the faro to see Clint Eastwood and convince him to give us his helmet (mind you it’s like 3am). At the faro Mick & me came out debating who was more drunk and he dared me to do a figure 4 (that’s standing on 1 foot) and the next thing I remember was him struggling carrying me bank into the car, me chewing my gum full with little rocks and him saying well we didn’t get a helmet but you got plenty of dirt from the site lol. Mickey was the funny guy that will brighten up anyones day, he will always have a special place in my families heart because before he became our brother in law he was already our brother, we grew up together, our memories go far back and adventures. Our children will always remember his silly songs, jokes and riddles. We will love you forever and miss you always. RIP MY BROTHER

Mickey was a wonderful person, son, brother, husband, father, Uncle and friend. Mickey loved boxing, singing, talking and family. He was a huge Bob Marley fan in every way...cough cough... He loved animals, from the smallest spider to the whales of the ocean. Mickey loved life and absorb every minute of it. He lived everyday as if his last. He was my friend and father to my children and I will always miss him. he will always live in anyone and everyone he touched.
Love you Mickey
Heavy metal and that’s it!
