Obituary of Miguel Sanchez

Miguel A. Sanchez, known to those who love him as "MICKEY BOY" age 53 of Camden, New Jersey passed away on January 14, 2021 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. He is the beloved husband of Sonia Rivera; devoted father of Miguel Sanchez, Emisael Sanchez, Marcus Sanchez, Edwin Perez, Omee Lopez, Bebo Garcia and the late Julian Sanchez; A loving grandfather of 26; His passion for his Children and Grandchildren was amazing. Loving son of Pedro Sanchez Sr. and Carmen Morales; dear brother of Pedro Sanchez. Sisters Miriam Morales and Zoila Sanchez. Mickey Boy also had two brothers and two sisters who are no longer with us. He is also survived by his loving dog Baby Sanchez. Mickey Boy was an amateur boxer in Vieques P.R. his boxer name was Mickey Matojo. Mickey loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his dog Baby. He also loved music, Frankie Ruiz, Paquito Guzman, El Grand Combo just to name a few. He was also a huge Bob Marley fan, Mickey also enjoyed singing. Mickey Boy was a conversationalist and loved being in nature. Family and friends are invited to the visitation and funeral on Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Falco, Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Avenue, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken N.J. Due to current Covid restrictions, please pay your respects in a timely manner and exit the building to allow others entry to pay respects. Face masks MUST be worn at all times inside the building.
